Our forebear JAMES COWE (later COWIE) christened 22-4-1781, St. Luke, Old Church, Finsbury, London, was the eldest son of JOHN COWE and his wife JANE (or JEAN) MURRAY. CHARLES TALBOT COWIE was born 14th January 1896 at Harrison Street, Wanganui, New Zealand. Charlie was the only son of Harry Talbot Cowie and Annie Cowper.
